Villa da Prato is a rural 16th century Venetian Villa formerly owned by the da Prato family.
Located in Caldiero, between Verona and Vicenza, today the Villa is open to the public and still preserves its original function as a center of vine-growing and farming activities.
Villa da Prato features the classical Venetian Villa design, including a large central hall with wooden-beam ceilings decorated in Renaissance tempera, and lateral halls with some frescoes traces.
A three-arch loggia, with columns of Verona marble, opens onto the historical gardens, a walled estate of 7 hectares with centuries-old trees and lush vineyards.
At the end of the vineyards, an enchanting tree-lined pond offers a beautiful setting for wedding ceremonies.
Today Villa da Prato and its historical gardens are open to visitors and represent the ideal venue for events and receptions up to 160 guests.
