Ca’ Marcello is a magnificcent example of a Palladian-style Villa Veneta, not far from the cities of Padua and Treviso.
Built in the 16th century by the noble Venetian Marcello family, who still live in and maintain the Villa, Ca’ Marcello was enlarged, furnished and finely decorated in the 18th century.
Inside the Villa, guests can admire the original furnishings, as well as numerous works of art, including the fresco cycle by G. B. Crosato depicting Olympus and the life of Alexander the Great, and rare stucco works based on cartoons by G. Zais.
Ca’ Marcello is surrounded by a park covering more than 9 hectares, which also dates back to the 18th century.
The historic gardens feature a 16th-century dovecote tower, a fish pond, the family’s private chapel and numerous statues.

Ca’ Marcello offers guests the opportunity to stay in the apartment in the Barchessa, located in a wing of the villa.
4 rooms (sleeping a total of 8), 3 bathrooms, living room, equipped kitchen, studio, private garden with pool.

Cycle tourism: Nearby Ca’ Marcello you can take advantage of the bikes for rent and assistance along the Treviso-Ostiglia bicycle path, a trail created from a restored Sabaudian military railway that passes a few meters from the property.
The path runs through the natural oasis at the source of the Sile River, the towns of Piazzola sul Brenta and Treviso and the Santuary of Sant’Antonio, and touches on numerous points of interest, including villas and villages.
The 9+-hectare historic park is divided into an Italianate garden and an English-style park, and features dozens of ancient trees and plants.
It contains an oratory, a dovecote tower, a fish pond and numerous statues of classical, allegorical and fantastical subjects, like a curious series of “dwarves” and “monkey musicians.”
Some parts of the park are wooded, with avenues, rest spots and romantic paths.
